Hello and welcome to A Place To Grow. I'm Haly, a passionate special educator with over a decade of experience in the classroom. For more than 10 years, I dedicated myself to empowering children, fostering their growth, and helping them navigate the world of learning. After years of teaching, I made the decision to trade in my teaching badge for the role of full-time mom to two amazing boys, ages 3.5 and 20 months.
 
Throughout my motherhood journey, I've remained deeply connected to education, always viewing the world through the lens of a teacher. Whether it's attending children's classes, exploring educational activities, or observing my own children's development, I find myself constantly evaluating how to improve and enrich the learning experiences around me. This unique perspective, combining both my teaching background and my experience as a mother, has allowed me to approach each educational opportunity with creativity, and a deep understanding of children's needs.
 
Through A Place To Grow, my goal is to create meaningful, fun, and enriching experiences for children, while also empowering parents and caregivers. I’m dedicated to providing resources, tools, and insights that foster growth, development, and learning in every stage of childhood.
